IKEA

I love Ikea food, the vege pasta with alfredo sauce is a very basic pasta yet so tasty and the choclate cake - is to die for! And the food there is so cheap, I could never get tierd of Ikea food!

have you visited Fort Independence Castle Island area in Boston? It's not too far off and an extremely nice haunt to take your parents too.

You can spend a whole day there, watching ships sail and dock and if you get lucky a submarine too.

it faces logan airport so you can spend a whole day chilling out, there is a walkway around the sea, that makes for an excellent getaway too.

Yeah I had been there once when I was new to Boston - as a matter of fact forgot about it - Thanks for the idea :) - that would be a good place to take them - any more suggestions? ;)

York and Ogunguit are about one and half hour away and are ideal getaways.
Kittery mall is at exit 2 and Ogunguit is at exit 7. They're off 95.

waltham Library has free passes to franklin park zoo, nautical museum at Salem, u can reserve the passes online.

even public garden past boston commons is a great hangout, especially if you want some pretty snaps. :(

Rockport is a great getaway too , it has a similar ocean drive like the Rhode island one, more quaint. if i remember the beach is good harbor beach.

Ruggles Cliff walk @Newport Rhode Island

Acadia National park is far away and I don't know if you wanna go that far.

Vermont I've been to the Lake willoughby and Seyon lake ranch area and both were lovely .

and Bed and Breakfast's at franconia in NH are to die for if you visit the Flume gorge and Franconia notch area, plenty of things to do.

DId you try chinatown gotobus or sunshine travels. they have a bunch of weekend getaways.
