Bla, bla,…

Shah Rukh Khan was apparently interrogated at Newark. I found it hilarious. One the silly media gimmicks (Oh! that media again!) and then two the fact that he was here to promote "My name is Khan". But I am nevertheless always entertained when American immigration officers or the USCIS are mocked at. As much as we claim that its a good lesson for SRK that he has to learn and he is like anyone else and get down from that pedestal bla bla bla!. Fact is he is a celebrity, he is not like you and me, cant deny it. And its equivalent of Brad Pitt or some Clooney being interrogated for US in India; so it will attract media attention, so what?- It only shows how ridiculous the immigration check system at the airport can be at times. I understand why and how they need to be strict, and coldnt agree more with it, but they cannot just stop people with a Khan or a Mohammed in their name that will be half the world or more, no? And then dont we remember that Neil Nitin Mukesh episode he was also given grief cos they didnt believe he looked Indian. Yes! he had to prove he was actually Indian! lol Just makes good time pass news

Malhotra (especially Raj Malhotra) and Saxena are such over-used last names in Hindi movies especially in the 80’s and 90’s; somehow the Singh’s, Khan’s, Patel’s because they are common perhaps do not stand out. But then maybe because I have always lived in South India I find these name a bit too fictitious. My husband happened to mention someone he knew with last name ‘Saxena’ and hence the drivel……
