Breakfast ideas!

Have started making (or more like assembling) Yogurt parfait for breakfast since one week. Its healthy, fresh and a hit. More importantly hard-to-please DH has given his sign-off, it can be added to the 'regular breakfast menu'. Its been very hard to settle on what to eat for breakfast, cereal is fine once in a while but not everyday. And then DH does not prefer South Indian breakfast of Idly and dosas once in a while is okay but not everyday it just gets boring - he dosent feel as healthy to eat it on a daily basis apparently and he much rather eat it on weekends. He thinks there is a bit too much of oil and ghee in South Indian tiffins than required to have it first thing in the morning. I can avoid adding Ghee and Oil but then taste is definitely compromised when there is no ghee ;) (Maybe its just me obsessing that you rather make it properly and have it or don't have it at all, that's my attitude towards any Indian dish probably thats rubbed off on him?)
Then I also recently tried breakfast tortilla wraps in the morning. Its working out fine too. Planning to extend it and make the Indian wraps or Frankies as we call them, which we used to eat while in school, also hopefully it turns out well.
Looking out for more healthy breakfast recipes and options!

i love aloo paratha for breakfast. It's very simple, very filling and you can refrigerate. Make 10 over the weekend. You get bored you can change the stuffing. An stuffing that dosen't have water in it will roll well. spinach, radish, just onion, or just add sugar on it :))

Even semiya upma, tomato upma are great.

For some reason i'm not too fond of rice varities for breakfast.

what do you make your parathas out of? just wheat flour? or mix of wheat flour and maida? and you use milk or water or both for the dough? :)

Also planning to switch from buying the Granola directly from the supermarket to combine nuts with porridge or with Oatmeal as they say in the US in the parfait:)

you could use whole wheat. when you knead, use warm water. Depending on how you roll them out it goes from soft to crispy to cruncy.
